Another badminton question?

I've been googling and can't seem to find a place to play badminton in my area (other than badminton for really, really good players...not quite there yet...) Summer weather is almost gone and we'd like to keep practicing. Could we use the indoor raquetball courts at the local university? I know it's not the same but there are different height settings for the net and my friends and I can go for a minimal fee even though we do not attend school at the U.
