Why am i receiving too much junk email recently?

I used to receive like 0 junk email everyday but recently i have been receiving at least 1 each day, these junk mails come from all sort of websites, such as banking, dating , which i have never heard of before. The contents of these emails are very simple, just a few rows, then they provide a link to unsubscribe their newsletter. I did not click any of those links, fear of them being links to virus site and stuff. I am wondering if you guys are also receiving such emails recently.
