Who takes Medicare for Gastric band?

My mother in law was told by her Dr. that if she does not lose weight, she probably only has about 5 more years to live. She is over 100 lbs. over what she should be. I am sure Medicare would cover the lap band but does anyone know of a lap band doctor in Austin, TX that takes Medicare?
