Why does my 7 mth old hold her breath and make her face all red?

she holds her breath for about 5 seconds and her face turns red and i just wanna no if this is normal.I'm worried about it because it looks like shes going to pop a vain or something lol.....and i know shes not taking a crap so why does she do that?
